Weld-R is a fume extraction unit designed for TIG and MIG welding, laser welding and laser cleaning.
- Portable fume extractor with 99.999% efficiency at 0.3 micron.
- HEPA filtration (standard) and high-efficiency pre-filtration to capture ultra-fine particles generated by laser welding.
- Extracts, filters and recirculates clean air into the work area.
- Includes a 3 meter long, 20 cm diameter extraction arm, lightweight, high flow and easy to operate. For local extraction.
Plug and play:
Supplied fully assembled in one box. Just lift it out of the package and plug it into a standard 230V/50hz outlet.
High efficiency HEPA filter and pre-filter as standard:
F9 pre-filter: The pre-filter removes most sub-micron respirable dust particles, protecting the critical downstream HEPA filter from stress and premature clogging. The filter media is enclosed in a solid aluminum cartridge that prevents contamination from entering. The mini-folded filter media provides high capacity and efficiency for laser welding.
HEPA filter:
The HEPA filter is tested to 99.999% at 0.3 micron size. This means that it removes 99.999% of the most aerodynamically penetrating particles at 0.3 micron, while smaller and larger particles are captured even more effectively, resulting in extremely clean air with no respirable dust. Both filters are included as standard.
FREE-FLO extraction arm:
Make the most of the filtration performance with the huge 200 mm diameter, 3 m long, free-flowing AIR arm. The arm maintains the capture rate and suction range in compliance with OSHA regulations for extended periods of time. A 200 mm diameter pipe has almost 5 times the flow rate of a 15 cm pipe.
Faster and smoother airflow is achieved because the mechanical design of the arm is located outside the pipe - there are no obstructions in the airflow to slow it down! Joints also move more freely and last longer when isolated from abrasive, metal and welding particles present in the duct.
Our innovative arm features an easy to access external friction adjustment that provides quick and easy positioning. Thanks to our unique "anti-slip adjustment", the joints maintain their tension without loosening the bolts over time, a common problem. Combined with the lightweight design, this arm requires significantly less effort to position and stays securely in place, eliminating sagging.
Integrated spark arrestor:
The spark arrestor prevents sparks and embers from escaping into the surrounding environment. The spark trap is a steel mesh on a steel frame that can be removed and cleaned. The net is located in front of the pre-filter and behind the spark diverter chamber, which is located just behind the fan blades.
