IriScope (MEDL4R) offers a new, fast and easy way to take eye images. The IriScope has 2x2 LEDs (white/yellow) that illuminate the side of the eye, reducing reflections in the image and discomfort caused by bright light. The yellow LEDs provide better images of dark irises. Images have a maximum resolution of 1.3 megapixels.

The IriScope is a specially developed digital microscope designed for imaging the eye and iris. It allows you to easily take sharp and detailed images that can capture even small details that are barely visible to the naked eye.
In naturopathy, the IriScope is often used for iris diagnostics. Iridologists evaluate the health of patients based on the color characteristics of the eye. According to their methods, diseases such as diabetes, rheumatism or gout can be detected from the iris examination and appropriate treatment can be suggested.
Camera designed for iris imaging
A specially shaped cap allows the camera to be brought close to the eye at the ideal distance. Built-in LED illumination (two white and two yellow LEDs) ensures quality and balanced images without the need for external light. In addition, the yellow LEDs help when photographing dark irises.
The captured image can be viewed directly on the monitor of a Windows or macOS PC or laptop, or on a Windows tablet. This makes the Dino-Lite IriScope a versatile and easily portable solution for professional use.
