Soldering handle Weller TCP 24 - MAGNASTAT 50W

The Weller TCP 24 Magnastat soldering handle is supplied with a silicone two-core power cable without connector. It is powered from a 24V power supply. The Weller Magnastat system works on the principle of a ferromagnetic sensor that changes its characteristics when specific temperatures are reached. This causes it to either attract or repel a permanent magnet, which switches the power supply to the heater for soldering operations or vice versa to reduce power during idle operation.

Various predefined tip temperatures are available to allow different types of soldering operations to be performed. Selection of the operating temperature is achieved by simply changing the soldering tip "temperature sensing". They are available in temperature classes 260 °C, 310 °C, 370 °C, 425 °C and 480 °C.
